I've noticed for a long time that guys don't go for girls based on how nice they are or what they're personality is or even necessarily on what they look like, but on how confident they appear to be in themselves. So I thought I'd write about it.

You stand across the room from her,
Watching her again,
Analyzing every little move,
Yet still not feeling her pain.

She'll never feel as though she is
A 'real' teenage girl,
She lacks so much experience,
Her heart is forever in a curl.

She finds it easier to pretend
She isn't a part of your world,
It's easier than accepting
She'll never be a 'real' girl.

'Real' girls are heartbreakers,
They're false right through and through,
Yet as they look so confident,
They draw in boys like you.

It isn't your fault really,
You just fall for their charm,
And come back to friends like that girl,
When a 'real' girl's done you harm.

Maybe it's our own fault,
Perhaps we should be like them,
Yet why should we change our ways,
When it's them that cause mayhem?

We all lose love in this life,
We'll never come out on top,
But for all you guys chasing boobs not brain,
This state of things has to stop.

The 'real' girls are taking over,
Whilst girls like her, they fade,
Becoming a shadow of what they were
Is a price which must not be paid.
