There used to be One.

"Once, there was One.

It was tall, proud, and covered in many leaves of prayer.

It watched over all of Earth.

Man then came.

They chopped down One.

That One stands no more.

That One was all we had.

Now there is NONE living."

We chopped down the One. Now, who is our ONE? Who is the only ONE left? That is right, there is NONE left. No One. None.

I liked your poem. It had a lot to say. However, I feel that the last paragraph is redundant even though it is to reinforce the idea and make the reader think. The poem already hints the fact that "One" is about nature so I would get rid of it. Overall, great poem! I liked it!
