I remember salty seas and warm winds

And sunlight that later turned to dark clouds

I remember skipping across the water

And finally feeling at home

I remember satisfying a desire that for so long held be enthralled

And being hypnotized by the patterns that danced across the surface of the water

I remember the fight, the thrill

And the happiness that came with the catch, the victory over a long, hard battle

I remember the sky turning dark, and the sea getting angry

And learned that all good things must come to an end
