one day i made friends with this guy.but it made me think.so i watched him through the halls.something was wrong.mentaly.in this poem,the word pop means popular kid.

today is a strange day

i have just made a new friend with a person i've always known

i've never thought of him as an enemy though.

there's only one reason for that.

when i look at people,

i try to think about their lives.

when i see him,

its different.

he is a popular kid.

but when hes not around the other pops,

he's different.he seems more like himself.

i'm friends with the real guy inside.

i've met both him and the other,

the person who hides to fit in.

but its the real person inside that i'm friends with.

i hope someday he is too.
