Life is yours, life is mine,
But we’re running out of time,
If only we could see,
That it’s love which sets us free,
A smile which cures it all,
Hands to protect a fall,
If only we could really know,
Ourselves and each other though,
We may not always get along,
Yet hear the ancestral call in song,
Whispering to us the answers we seek,
Trying to save us from our own defeat,
Then with our differences we may still,
Learn to love and not to kill,
Communicate and trust in good,
Do all to help we can and should,
Respect and honour each other’s way,
That we may live in Peace some day.
