can you hear me

can you see me

can you feel me

can you be me?

turn right to talking

turn left to work

turn back to problems

face front for a cork.

falling in alcohol

drowning in wine

swimming in beer

that’s supposed to be mine.

talking to people

four times at once

chatting online

continuing for months.

calling on bluetooth

walking in heels

saturday, she parties

sunday, she kneels.

all is forgiven

but sins and sadness

are outspoken by rutheless

anger and gladness.

children crying on your right

adults, left, whose eyes glisten

but turn directly down

and listen to me.

just listen.
