i am stuck in a room

no windows no doors

too big for a casket

too small for yours.

i am stuck in a room

where all i can do is speak

to myself, to a wall

where the feelings would leak.

i am stuck in a room

where no one can hear,

hear me scream, hear me shout

no matter how near.

my voice does not matter

my soul may be crushed

there is no time in this room

so why have i rushed?

i never get older

or younger, you see

because there is only white space

four corners,

and me.

i am stuck in a room

where i cry and i fall

i am stuck in a room

can you hear me at all?
