falling and falling,

into a hole of despair

the blackness engulfs me

but why do i care?

i knew this was coming

i knew i would trip

and fall in the pit

just because of one little slip.

i don’t seem to be bothered

my emotions don’t stir

i don’t hate them or it

he, she, him or her.

the only one i feel bad for

is absolutely nothing

but my heart tells me that

my mind must be bluffing.

falling,

falling,

falling and gone.

apparently my brain is turned off

and my emotions left on.
