‘come closer’ he drags you with your tattered soul

with the sexiest look, with the eyes dark as coal;

never beginning, never to end

you give him your heart, an object to lend,

a trance that you’re in

you know that you’re dazed,

but his heavy, sweet breath

you’re hardly fazed.

you want to go away, you want to go hide

but there’s something more to him, there’s something inside

you blindly search, mindlessly hoping

that one day he’ll be the one helping you coping;

he’s the one that is hurting you through day and through night;

he’s the only one you know will get rid of your fright

that moment when you are about to run, screaming

your life drips through your hands, his eyes melting, gleaming;

your mind tells you no, yet your heart tells you yes;

secrets alive forbid you to rest;

blood, he whispers caressing your spirit,

you anticipate the pain; you know you can hear it

a kiss that takes away your very last breath:

you should have never fallen in love with the man named Death.
