I'm broken, did you know?
I mailed a secret to no one
And I'm trying really hard to find a remedy
To this madness-filled mind.
It's odd when I'm wearing black and you're wearing white
And sexy isn't the word you use.
I just want to commit a crime:
To take your breath away,
Capture your heart,
And steal healing kisses in the dark.
I'm an under-cover lover
Waiting for you to make the first move,
But I give in and move into you.
I turn the music down
Hoping that conversation will sprout,
But it turns into another carpet rubbing day.
A few more spoonfuls of food and you ask me
If I'm okay.
What am I supposed to say?
