A night in the low life.

"A martini, dry."
Then I see you catch my eye.
A crooked grin, not quite a sin,
But still a playful pry.

A glass of cheap red wine
Spilt all down a friend of mine
Pass the powder, laughing louder
Cut the bathroom line.

Three free whiskey shots
For the band that's playing hot.
I go missing, now we're kissing
In the parking lot.

The smell of piss poor beer
On your breath against my ear.
In a trance, the last to dance,
The lonely folk all leer.
