Killthroat

In your lungs
I am accumulating.

The blackest of black,
painted over your teeth
I dare you to smile

Vomit for me,

You pump me in,

Take advantage of me.

Colourless and odourless,

I laugh as I kill you.

Do not cry over an aging face,

You are addicted to me

And will take what I dish out.

75 is more attractive than 25.

A new life diseased.

Embedded in poison,

Your choice is murder.

And the winner is

Cancer,

Unfortunately
you have lost.

Inhale
me again,

I cannot stop you
from suicide.
