Possibly Crazy...

I had a problem with a guy...

So one day, I blurted out,

"Maybe he doesn't see the pain I feel."

Then I hear a voice say,

"Maybe he's aware of the feelings he's caused."

So I said,

"Maybe he really never loved me."

They agreed,

"Maybe he just liked the idea of love."

I shouted,

"He used to call all the time!"

They calmly said,

"But he never calls anymore."

I pointed out,

"He used to say 'I love you.'

They argued,

"But he ignores you now!"

Occasionally, I felt like screaming...

Yet they knew I was quiet.

Occasionally, I felt like leaving him...

Yet they knew I was hesitant.

Occasionally, I felt like arguing.

I didn't want to ruin our friendship...

I still felt like I loved him...

Yet I knew that we could not be together.

I said sadly,

"Maybe you're right."

They sighed,

I asked,

"So what do I do now?"

They replied,

"You already know."

I turned to thank them...

But no one was there.

I started to think I was crazy...

Since I was talking to myself.

But then I started to realize...

That all along...I had the answer inside me!

After all my struggling and contemplating...

The only thing I had to do was talk to myself!
