Small hands clasped tight

While a blank stare lingers

Thoughts flow free,  but the mouth stops

Shut. Fear of? Reprimand.

Possible: bruises left, no tears fall.

Wait until the room is empty, deflated

Reluctant as the souls leave.

Cleanse the wounds with the thick

black dirt, seep into the damned - Dusk.

Awakens the memories of solitary whimpes

growls, scratches, a snarling of teeth, a bite and the

The black takes everything and

It ends.
