Does it matter if they're right?
Well, does it?

And what if they're right?
And that enticing smile
and those magnetic eyes
have been bestowed upon hundreds
and were dishonest to all?

And what if they're right?
and your deceptions
have fooled me
along with the rest?

Does it matter if you lie?
Well, does it?

And I can't
be
just one more
foolish, mindless girl

And I can't
try
to love you
if it's all trivial, futile

And I can't
make
your decisions
if they're already made

Does it matter if I can't?
Well, does it?

And, so,
who are
you, now?
And who am I
to you, now?

And now
will you tell me?
And now
do you know honesty?
And now
can you love me?

Does it matter if you can?
Well, does it?
