Sitting in the tub
With my clothes on
As I Cry like a dog
With the hose on
My stomach is churning
While my reflux is yearning
To bring up the past
Of something that couldn't last
Because
I was a manic pixie dream girl to him
and I can't really seem to fit in
to that category
Cause I'm more than just
Sunshine and rainbows
I'm hurricanes
And tornadoes
Of thoughts
And neurons
Passing by
I'm constantly
Corroborating my alibi
I want to be a ride or die
Kind of chick
But something clicked
I can't heal you anymore
Than you want to
And you refuse
To use
My advice
And this is your vice
Where you constantly lie
And I can't tell
If one day
You will turn against me
When we are wed
And then the vows mean nothing
To someone who'd rather die
Than tell the truth
To his own mother
You are so afraid
Of the truth
That I am afraid of you
