"Before You"

 

Every day in this cold and gray, lonely world

The colors blend and time collides

Don't know how or why or when

My soul is bare, I'm dead inside

Nothing anymore to make me feel alive

 

Before you, before I saw your face

And the light of your smile, like the warmth of a thousand

Burning suns, electricity radiating through my soul

And I realize there was never any life

I was never quite alive, before you

Before you

 

I never saw a sunset before, the depth of the night

The rose never bloomed, all the stars did not shine for me

Now the world breathes again, and time has stopped

Oh, I can't explain how everything changed, since I heard your voice
