I once lived in a world not much different than this,

A world where animals and humans live side by side,

But,

You see these animals are much different,

There not your usual,

There unique,

Different,

Rare as you would say,

I still remember when my pet Roseanne,

Lived at the bottom of my garden,

She was a,

Rare,

Very, very rare,

Winged tiger,

She had wings smooth as sanded wood,

Her coat was as stripy as a zebra crossing,

And her eyes,

Well…

I don’t think I can describe them,

They were bright green and when the sun shined in them,

Her eyes sparkled like a beautiful diamond,

I couldn’t think of anything or anyone who could replace her,

But my fantasy life,

Just came to an end.

My Mother opens mycurtains and patted me lightly on the head,

“Chelsea, please wake up you’ve been in a coma for 5 weeks”

My eyes slowly flicker open,

And Roseanne beautiful face fades away,

I can see her gently pouting and whimpering,

Wishing I’m not leaveing her,

But I must…

Goodbye Roseanne…
