Even the strong must at times be weak. Story of my life. This really is a sad poem. It doesn't rhyme, and it isn't short, but I would really appreciate it if you guys would comment. Edited and improved by Tarot.

A song melts in the air

Running in rivers through the atmosphere

Pouring to my breaking foundation

I cry

Sobbing heavily into my pillow

This isn't me

My friend walks in

We have had our fights,

But right now she's here for me

I have always been the strong one,

But now that she's done crying

She's my pillar, my stronghold.

She knows I need her there

And she doesn't move, except to comfort me

Until I've calmed down, and let go.

Frozen tears still linger behind my eyes

But I really can be happy for her

I really will

Yes, I'll miss her

But this is not a final goodbye

Yes, she'll be gone

But I can still see her

Yes, I'm sad

But if she can be happy, so can I

The poem she wrote

Means she's sad too, and I know she's crying with me

But she will move on,

And so will I

But friends stay forever

And we'll both be there.
