This is an answer to a challenge by Hugs & Kisses. It's a poem based on a song called I Write Sins not Tragedies by Panic! at the Disco. I am supposed to use these five words in the poem.
1. Aluminium
2. Metallic
3. Binding
4. Luster
5. Smile
And the poem is supposed to be written from the point of view of the groom. Wish me luck!

I slip the aluminum ring on her finger

As she smiles up at me

With a metallic shallowness in her eyes

He bursts through the door

Which we forgot to close,

How strange

"Haven't you people ever heard of

Closing the goddamn door?"

He screams

He's crazy

But we've said the binding words

The dimly shining luster of marriage

Closes around me

and my bride.

Clowns pour into the room

This is slightly unnerving

And my bride screams

Not in fear

But in anger

Not at the clowns

But...at me.

She storms out of the church

And leaves me

I knew it would happen

But still it hurts.

So much for a saved marriage

It's been sabotaged.
