I wrote this, thinking about the women who put themselves through emotional, phsychological and physical pain on a day to day basis. For some, it is because of their peers, for others it is due to past experiences. I wrote this, thinking about the loved ones a woman has that makes her strong and able to push through a world of negativity. It has a very denotative look on it, but a very deep message, that sometimes only women can understand.

When we look in the mirror we see skin bones and some fat
when she looks in the mirror she sees nothing like that
When she looks in the mirror she sees a hideous smile
and she thinks to herself that she is not worth the while
She thinks why am I alive ,with a face like this
I am ugly I am hideous.
By now she reaches for the gun but into the room walks her son

Your beautiful mommy, he begins to cry
your great mommy please don't die.
Asshe hears these words she begins to cry
and grabs her son and wipes the tears from his eyes
Finally, she puts the gun down and looks at her son
and says with a frownI will not die today or tomorow
So do not cry, don't be in sorrow
