Everyone knows the same old story about the prince who saves the princess. They fall in love and live happily ever after. Not every story is a fairytale, and not every story has an ending. Let me take you back to the very beginning...

The princess of this story was born on a December morning to teenage parents. Her father named her Rachelle. She was unwanted by her parents, who only cared about partying and didn't like the responsibility of a baby. The first few months of Rachelle's life were full of neglect. Her parents would often put her in their bedroom and go party or smoke. When Rachelle was only six months old, her grandparents rescued her from her irresponsible parents...

The prince was ironically enough, born to a teenage mother, whom had named him Blake. Blake's life was already better than Rachelle's. His mother seemed to try harder. Instead of neglect, Blake was loved by his mother, something Rachelle would never experience. Blake had a normal childhood. He was blessed with good looks, brains, and musical talent. He grew into a perfect teenager...

Rachelle had a harder childhood. She was forever cursed by the mere memory of her parents. She had not seen then since that day her grandparents saved her. Rachelle was mocked by the other kids, for being different. Kids didn't understand why she lived with her grandparents. They thought there was something wrong with her. As she grew up, she started to think so too. She didn't have many friends because of this. Rachelle turned to music. Music became her friend, her escape. She went through school and one day...

Blake went through life thinking everyone was the way that he was...blind. He thought everyone saw the way he saw, until one day when he realized that other people were seeing things he couldn't see. He was mocked for his differences, but that only made him stronger. One day, when he was a sophomore in high school, he had a performance for band. They called it Jazz Night, and that's when...

One day, Rachelle was told that she had to move to a new school. She was determined to hate everything there. Until, she became a part of the band. She was accepted into a loving band family. She decided she would go to jazz night, where she met Blake. She was in a practice room with her friend Katie and Blake walked in. He stated at her for several moments. Rachelle couldn't believe that this random stranger was starin at her. She knew she looked pretty that night, though. She had worn a pretty dress and curled her long hair. She saw Blake staring at her but pretended not to notice...

Months went by and our prince and princess fell into the normal routine of summer vacation. Rachelle was now living with her father, stepmother, brother, and sister. It was her sole responsibility to raise her siblings. She spent every day of her vacation watching them...until band camp. Band camp was her escape from her life at home. Her first day, she stood talking to her friend Brittany, when suddenly, Blake came over. Rachelle stared in confusion. She wasn't sure where she had met him, but she knew that she knew him...

Blake didn't recognize Rachelle. She had since cut her long hair very short. He said hi and went on his way. Later that day, the band split up into groups, where Rachelle and Blake ended up together. They became friends, Rachelle knowing that Blake was the mysterious stranger from jazz night, but Blake not yet realizing it...

As band camp went on, they became friends, Rachelle knowing she had strong feelings for Blake, but not letting them show. For Blake though, it seemed was oblivious to Rachelle's flirty smiles or the way she watched and analyzed everything about him. They laughed together, they had fun together, it was true love blossoming at band camp. When camp was over, they parted ways, Blake leaving to go to varsity camp, and Rachelle returning to her every daylife of raising her siblings. With the modern day invention of Facebook, Rachelle tracked down Blake. It was almost two weeks later when they had contact again. Rachelle was on vacation in Mackinac Island, when she gave Blake her number. They flirted and talked for a few days... Rachelle was due to come home on Wednesday and Blake had planned to see her Thursday...

The villain of the story was Rachelle's boyfriend, Zac. He was clingly and controlling and had no good qualities. In fact, Rachelle was certain that she had been forced to date him. Rachelle and Blake were supposed to hang out together on Thursday, but Blake had to go to the museum with his mom and little sister. So Rachelle went to the park and called Zac. Zac came to the park and Rachelle told him about Blake. He was extremely mad, but allowed er to see him on Friday. He was convinced that she would never let him go. Friday morning came and Rachelle was excited. She was falling deeply in love with Blake. They were going to the park with Rachelle's little sister and brother...

Rachelle arrived at the park first. She got her sister lunch and fed her brother.
