Eyes to a blank paper
That seems forever a glow
As the words never come and the paint never flows.
My mind it pleas like a lonesome warrior slips to a doze
Of inspirational justice, and
Yet my heart hums for graceful lands
That tells heroic with the drift of romance.
How’s a poet to just get to it?
You can’t just do it!
The rhyme is a pain
That dances again and again
Like the music box you never release.
But none the lease,
There’re fireworks inside us -
That’s why are pens always rattle with such a fuss!
But even now as I juggle the keys to my mind and heart,
I’m indecisive with an idea I just can’t part.
This reality is all too real
And I can assure you it’s a big deal!
