Hypothetically.

I'm lost.

Those pathways are too numerous.

Everywhere I turn there's a fork in the road.

And no matter how far I go, the miles to go keep growing.

Hypothetically.

I'm stunned.

Unexpected words trample me.

The cruelty of it all takes away my breath.

God I pray they aren't that cold, but I guess you ought to know.

Hypothetically.

I'm drained.

Restless nights make me weary.

A racing mind and fearful eyes steal sleep.

I had given my all and yet, I'm still the one they call.

Hypothetically.

I'm scared.

Lies they've told now haunt my thoughts.

I cannot fight their words so should I just run?

Because of this indecision I tremble; I cowar.

Hypothetically.

I'm hurt.

Throwing elbows is how they win.

My weakness helps them to be dominant.

I'm vulnerable, when will this game start to cease?

Hypothetically.

I'm trapped.

Frozen like a polaroid shot.

I'm left hanging and I cannot go back.

Now I have to decide my next pose; fight or go?
