Lost, lost, lost.

A memory of a dream when dark and light met.

Lost.

slipped away,

down the drain,

Love sucked up and unmercifully swallowed.

-

Gone, gone, gone.

When Hope was teased out

Then crushed without a care.

Gone.

-

Something Time will weep over for all eternity.

Becomeing nothing but a tale for children deep in winter's cluches.

Something that was forbidden but wonderful,

a dream shared by two,

never to come again.

A chance at something so pure

that the sight of it made angels weep forlorn tears of joy and hope and pain and sorrow,

because the angels knew, deep down, that such a love

never had a glimmer of a chance.

-

Weep mortal, weep,

for all lost love.
