This don't end the way it starts,
And I promise I won't break your hearts!

(ps: This is my first long rhyming poem, yippie!)

With Unbroken Love,

she played the part of mirror.

***

With Unbroken Love,

she showed you that which was not clear.

***

With Unbroken Love,

she looked away.

***

With Unbroken Love,

she said it'd be okay.

***

With Unbroken Love,

she watched you fall.

***

With Unbroken Love,

she tried to stand tall.

***

***

But you didn't want her anymore;

you cast-off the life-boat with her still on the shore.

***

She tried to understand,

but you spit upon her helping hand.

***

Once upon a golden time,

you were happy to let her play mime.

***

But some high temptress a-whispered in your ear:

Darkly clouding the ivory clear.

***

Off with the temptress you gladly set sail,

Only to find yourself pushed off the rail.

***

So you find youself a-sinking in the deep dark blue,

Now you are knowin' that you never had a clue.

***

You rejected she who was truest of the true,

And then realized she never once rejected you.

***

She stood by you in the bad hours,

Not even tempted to go off and sniff the flowers.

***

When you came home bloodied from a fight,

she was there, the humblest sight.

***

She never once looked at what you had done

and at once attemped to shun.

***

She loved you with every ounce of her heart,

always rushing to do her part.

***

But isn't too late

to save your love so great.

***

So go,

and don't waste time running slow!

You've a true love to catch,

a damsel to fetch!
