On a summer night one shadow

opens the door to a polished cylindrical

canvas, but feels nothing.

The shadow closes the door locking

himself in his own feeling of

nothingness while trying to survive

the war between the dead senses

and lost time.

Throughout the soft night he finds

someones secret on the wall

or is it his?

He carves out the secret with his last

tooth and gets into the wall himself

and stays there where he belongs.

Every summer night that shadow

comes out resembling everyone who

comes near that wall where the shadow

lives, then I come near it and find

the shadow holding my secret and I

begin to wonder will I be next?
