The air, the air, it's everywhere,

You can feel it as it whips your hair.

I dry the clothes hanging on the line,

And I fill your lungs as your nostrils pull me inside.

I'll be here for your taking at any time,

When you need a breath, or some wind, just chime.

I'm behind every door, and also under the water,

I can be cold, and I can even get hotter.

I serve the humans, and I serve the plants,

You can use me when you run, or even when you dance.

The animals- yes they use me too,

I am used every minute, yes I know it's true.
