Eye gave vision to me,
Air gave me oxygen to breath,
Rain gave me water to drink,
Tree gave me shelter I need,
Heart gave me a chance to live.

Such strong meaning in only five lines, well written and a powerful poem (:

Thank you very very much. Each an every comment is precious to me.
Short and sweet, very meaningful indeed...you've managed to convey something that people might not be able to in a huge stanza even..
We are thankful to God that he created such benificial gift for us. Nice one.
Wonderful. You have explained the main essence of life in just five lines. Each one just as important as the other. If one goes missing, life ll seem incomplete. Good work :-)
Great meaning in such a short piece. Nicely done.
Thank you very much JBrewer
Beautiful and sweet. It has a deep meaning to people who read into the words they see. Hope you keep it up :)
Thank you very much Helena
Excellent and sweet acrostic!
Thank you Sarah
I don't really know what an 'acrostic' is, I'm rather dense when it comes to poetry. However this was lovely, short, sharp and straight to the point. Nice!
Wonderful poem. Makes me thoughtful. Really like the style
