I walk away, carry about an air of indifference.

But my eyes are shaded, refusing to shed.

I know the truth, but try to bend it,

For my sake, for my insanity.

I let you use me, abuse me, hurt me.

But won't let you see.

You are the moment, the air that I breathe.

But I let you walk away, to go on separate ways.

I let you leave, and live.

Though I die; though I cry

Deep in the silent corners of myself.

I walk away when you did, and carry on.

An air of indifference, feigning your existence.
