Wonderful Cocker Spaniel

Hiding in the shelter kennel

Salivating and hesitating

From a life gone wrong

But a good song

God has plans for you

Raise your tail in defiance

Show the workers your wears

Don't bite, don't fight

Make love not war

Reveal your sunny

And merry disposition

Exhuberant smile

Walking for a mile

For any old biscuit

You are a fighter

Not a biter

But for peace

For anew life lease

Not like the fighter dogs

The ones like heavy logs

Butthey were abused

Forthe Devil's blues

And even they had no choice

As a dog follows the master

So show them your poodle dance

The day with only one chance

Be on your best behavior

A cake with fluffy layers

Someone will come for you

Don't fall into the depression of

A lifetime recession

They won't put you down

You are too good for that

Sweet baby, sweet baby

Your pink tongue of ecstasy

Is now my reality

Tail wagging in the car

This life will surely go far
