The earth worm dances

And he also prances

Avoiding mud puddles

Afraid of being stepped upon

Such a brave fellow

Often rubs elbows

With other outdoor creatures

Then the pine tree fell

And ouch did that hurt

The slimy creature

Only suffered in silence

He suffered in silence

Not a serpent though

He refused to be a serpent

And his mother told him

"You will go to Heaven" for sure

And one day he did

As the mail man stepped

Upon a gambling worm

Meaning he took risks

So he is up there

Breathing the peppermint air

And the earth worm dances

And he prances

Upon a wonderful

Sea of Glass

Singing hymns with Jesus

Amen

(Genesis 1:1)
