whiskers with beads of rain

squeaking like mice

seeking a sunflower seed

baby baby squirrels

hiding in dirt tunnels

laughing at the old people

feeding them nuts

they seem to enjoy people

hide and seek

and and humans they peek

whiskers of peanut butter

whiskers of nuts

sometimes find an old candy bar

to chew on
