Pink bulldog on the side of the road

Bleeding from an accident

So I taped you up, and brought you home

But you won't shutup--

Everyone loves you & wherever you go

I get jealous, I get zealous

I am falling for you Pink bulldog

Pig-skin tough, a heavy log--

Your sad empathetic eyes

And face of an old man--

Interrupts my inner child

I don't need to  hide when I'm with you

I don't need to cry when I'm with you

I accept your big pouchy mouth

Your salivating and anticipating

A lovely biscuit into your snapper jaw

Like a tortoise so big

Your goofy grin drives me insane

And you carry my shoes around the house

Your kiss on my chin is Heaven's bliss

Pink bulldog, a good friend
