Mother Nature was upset

and she opened the floodgates

God opened Heaven's floodgates

and Noah was on guard

we got rain on the sidewalks

broken lives walking in the rain

they seem to walk in darkness

never in the sun

self infliction of pain, depression

worn out shoes floating

old debris and a doll

floating upon the sidewalk rain

like a cold hurricane

Noah is on guard

a raindbow is ready

to declare that flooding

is not taking control

we got rain on the sidewalks

some worms are churning

turning over on leather bellies

blowing bubbles in the rain

people in pain

obsessions about the rain

cold, lonely rain

makes you feel your heart sink

but a rainbow is ready

a rainbow is ready

and the sun is coming out

ha ha

Mother Nature fooled us

while God takes control

who is in control?

rain, God or man?

ha ha

beyond all human understanding

pain in the rain

and the sun will come out
