A poem that displays observation which stems from everything that my mother has been through and how she still perseveres...

I saw the ache within your eyes on the day you lost your daughter

You couldn't take her chronic pain and the way that she had suffered

Life is built on tragedies but for some it's ridden rougher

By God's grace upon every day I saw that you had gotten tougher

No one else that I know can take it as you did

You persevered and carried on

Liable for 2 kids

So put your hands up in the air

I'll scream for you aloud

Your only son will always say

"Hey mom you've made me proud"
