This is my adode, this isn't my home.

I feel lost inside with nowhere to go.

I jump at night and dream all day.

I know that it should be the other way.

Does anyone ever change from day to day?

Is it syrup for words that they only say?

I need a wall both solid and tall,

that I lean against and say nothing all.

Drop the phone and shoot the postman.

They have nothing I need or nothing I want.

Need to hide away and not get caught.

I am scared we live in a world full of frauds.

Another day closes and I start to shake,

but it is more fun than being awake.

The days drag by and nothing has changed.

I am still scared of the world and the effort it takes.

So I will leave you on a more positive note.

I know that I do not have these fears alone.

Someone out there is singing the same old tune.
