A Dead Mans Love To His Wife
To: my beloved wife...
You never once complained when you knew we would have nothing.
Where others would have left or moaned... you never let out a sigh.
We smiled at the destruction around us, knowing...that we put our trust in Allah.
Never once did I have to doubt... about my secrets, my honor and my faith being protected.
We both know what hardships you faced just being with me.
Like a vanguard of this world you concealed yourself.
You were the extension of me... I would never need to finish my words.
I loved your jealousy.
I loved your jealousy. I loved teasing you with the thought of others only...
so I could know how dear I was to you.
The way you would look at me with fire in your eyes... showed me that I was the only one for you.
Watching you makes me laugh as I wonder if my heart would ever want another, as I watch you feed our child.
You know your place, it is by my side.
What chance did Sheitan [the devil] have against me?
Don't think that I left you.
Don't think in this world anything is dearer to me... than the moment I walk home, knowing what awaits me.
I went to find a better place for us...
They say the mind cannot comprehend what awaits us.
The eye has yet to see, the ear has yet to hear.
My Love they say rivers of honey. Rivers of milk.
Is it not fitting that I go to this land affar to take you and our children?
I have no doubt that the One whose word is truth
loves me very much as He gave me you.
I told you once that I must marry two things.
You, my life was solely with you.
But now I must marry again.
I must marry...
After death will come reckoning.
And if I stand amongst the best of creation.
with the permission of Allah
Lord of The Heavens and The Earth
I. Will. Beg. For. You.
Note from me: I have made this into a video ... which is on a comparitive degree, much much much more powerful than it is here. Unless your heart is completely sealed to emotion, I swear it will quake your heart and bring a sweet pain to your body. For, I kid you not, about two hours I was shaking and crying. I suggest any two lovers watch it together as it is an emotional, but inevitable truth that binds wise, true, realistic love.
