~It is my honor and pleasure to dedicate this to the brilliant Mahejabeen Hossain~
Eyes but no Vision
The Eye: I swim in the ecstasy of love stories, my friend. Tell me of a man. The features of a Greek God. The body of a beast.
The Vision: Shall I tell you, my friend, of such a man that has siezed my affection?
The Eye: Tell me. Relate to me of this beaut.
The Vision: His eyes are pools of tenderness, depths of wisdom I wish to drown in.
The Eye: How does he observe you? Does he fall prey to your beauty?
The Vision: He is blind, my friend. Yet he speaks of a world more illumated than this I live in.
The Eye: Tell me of his lips?
The Vision: Such an exquisite portal to his heart. The voice that flows from within, is the music of knowledge, the melody of integrity and the song of sincerity.
The Eye: Does he whisper such thoughts of romance and lust that makes you quaver?
The Vision: He whispers the words of foresite and contentment that make me cry.
The Eye: Show me an image of this man?
The Vision: You have seen him, my friend. The young man who lies in hospital.
The Eye: My dear Lord! How repulsive! His body is ravaged with cancer. His skin is painted the shades of death!
The Vision: Yes.
The Eye: But he is ugly.
The Vision: Yet he is beautiful...
