Only time will tell me who I am

I know who I was
and that's about it,
but who I am now
is hard to quite get.
I'll look back on this moment
ten years from today,
and see myself clearly
and know right away.
But right now at this time
the past is quite clear,
the present is obscured,
and the future is not here
