Life moves on
with the ticking of the clock.
It stretches long out,
with a gravel path to walk,
and when you trip and fall
the gravel will grind deep,
but then you must stand,
before death comes to reap,
for death always follows,
some steps behind,
waiting for your soul to reap,
when the gravel starts to grind.
