Mayan History

The Mayan civilization was ruled by two certain leaders of the royal family. When the last one of a royal family died, a ceremony court chose a new royal family. The Mayan civilization collapsed around 800 A.D., due to over farming, and not getting enough iron. There were 119 known gods, possibly several hundred more forgotten due to an explorer in the 1500’s, who found that they sacrificed mankind, and claimed they were works of the devil, and burned all their books but three.
