Just below the border that divides 2 separate worlds, that of the North and that of the South, lives Daehyun. A simple farmer, he is still stuck in the past, unable to accept the modernization of his beloved Korea and desperately holding onto his simple ways. Just above the border lives Sungmoon, trapped in the straight jacket of his strict military country. One day, Sungmoon shows up on the doorstep of Daehyun's small cottage, out of breath, clothes ripped and bleeding. Daehyun accepts the stranger into his house, never asking the question of why he is here and who he is running from. Over time, the two boys become like one, unable to break apart, even when it endangers them both. Together, they find out just how different the North and the South truly is and face something more dangerous then they have ever known.
