When my father was running for Senate, my mom gave me one rule: Do not do anything that could embarrass my dad and ruin his career. Once it was decided that my father had won the presidential election on Election Day, my sister, my mom, and I were drug onstage with my dad to celebrate his victory. That is when the questions started. Everybody recognized my mom and Sophie, but they didn’t recognize me.
The next day, the press was asking the big question-who in the world was the teenage girl with black hair streaked with blue, a nose ring, and a top that revealed a lot of skin. By now, everyone has grown tired of wondering who the mysterious daughter is. But I am still unable to live my life the way I want. I go to a school full of snobs and my only friends are a bunch of Christians.
