A poem about precious moments in time.

A PHOTOGRAPH OF LOVE

Words are unnecessary ...

Bodies intertwine as souls unite,

The moment, not the fairytale imagined ...

but somehow enough...

a sweet romance ... a reality, her wonderland,

just as precious ...

Words are unnecessary ...

Bodies intertwine as souls unite,

She sees it in his eyes,

A sadness,

a sadness almost tangible,

a sadness that touches her deeply,

a sadness so strange,

for it's a sadness reflecting beauty,

of a soul reflecting sentience and profundity ...

Fireflies dance in the fading sunlight,

celebrating the shadows of the awakening dusk,

the moon shrouds herself in an enchanting mist,

the mysterious dancer ...

She so wants to kiss away all the pain,

the hurt , just make him happy -

to share with him completely

As bodies intertwine and souls unite,

Words are unnecessary ... they've created

a timeless memory ...safe...

a photograph of love ...

Kimmi:

Attains the superbly lofty heights of imagination and expression. Carries the reader along to the end. Interesting variation between verses and when the chorus appears.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.
