One is never alone, theres always hope and a warm presence ...

As Darkness Fell

Gigantic, anvil-head clouds towered higher into the magnificent

blue sky,

Thunderous snowy tipped waves roared,

as they crashed against the rocky shore

There I sat with Him,

You were not there,

I dug my toes into the warm sand,

It was time to watch a true artist at work ...

The red sun set with all it's glory,

Slowly ...

Disappearing far in the distance,

below the serene waters,

and the sky His canvas became ...

Tinged with the most fiery hues ...

yellows, mixed with pinks and various shades of oranges, purples ...

and blues ...a panoramic masterpiece ...

Soon playful Bottle-nosed dolphins with their grace

and brilliance broke the calmness of the vast ocean,

A myriad of sea-gulls flew south as darkness fell,

and the first stars lit up the heavens ...

I raised my brow to kiss you,

In celebration of such love,

Such splendour,

Such beauty,

But you were not there,

You were a part of my life no longer ... my heart sank ...

A comforting, gentle breeze, ran it's fingers through my long dark

hair, tenderly caressed my cheek,

and whispered into my ear ...

He would be with me forever,

Never walk away,

Never give up,

I would soon be whole again ...

I smiled !
