y Dear Bomb

Through scarred tissue

A fissure rose -
Cracks made patterns
Below your nose

My dear bomb;
Blow up for me
Shower me in ash
Swamp me in glee

My little bomb;
Stay explosive
Forever the consonant
Of your name a plosive

Debris of bodies
In the aftermath
The smell of flesh -
The eternal bloodbath

My little darling;
On a killing spree -
Bomb these streets
In a silent reverie

Slaughter the children
Who swing in the park
Leave their bodies
Alone in the dark

Take a life
While it sleeps
Take his husband -
Make him weep

And as for me -
Kill me slowly
Burn my skin
Immolate me holy

Make me a covenant
Between distance and time
So my blood boils down
To sweet red wine

My little bomb;
When you die
Leave no trace
For me to find

Wipe my memory
Leave no scars
When the smoke clears -
Leave only stars

-

Never return
And never yearn -

Go for good
I would if I could -

Leave with a blast
Leave at last

Leave me now
Leave me proud
