The Starry Night reminds me of the dark blue sky during a silent night,

waiting for the time the sun rises.

A brisk wind creates endless patterns in the clouds,

like a garden of arranged flowers,

an intricate setting, appealing to sight and scent.

Rolling hills go on and on,

as if it was an infinite sea.

Blazing stars shine brightly against the contrast of the blue-black abyss,

flickering like a candle in a Chinese lantern.

A crescent moon provides a faint gentle light,

glowing like a faded glow stick.

The painting represents a man's great artwork,

one of which is admired for years to come.

Something so ageless, and not so fleeting.

Something that reminds me of what I'm aspiring to create.
