The strength and impact of a voice should never be disregarded.

Your voice sounds like the roar of a lion booming throughout a crowded circus.

Like the sound of children's laughter,

after a warm summers day.

You are the subtle sound of a cricket in the night,

legs thrumming in a repeated song.

Your voice is a fathers voice,

gently nudging a child down the right path.

Like loving acceptance and undying attention.

Your voice sounds like the wind that brushes by,

and the jubilant birds taking flight.

You haven't ever been silent, insisting on making noise like a comical jester,

bells jingling as he hops and skips across the, otherwise silent, court room.

It has advised me through my years of life, and taught me what I needed to survive.

It has nurtured me and supported me without any hesitation.

Your voice has shown me anger, happiness, disappointment, annoyance, and love.

But never once, has there been no warmth.
