Those fears you always had of the economy, coming to life. Job loss, starvation, broke, is that all is left for the future. I wish I knew.

It’s a Friday; no the Friday that I decide that I am living in an important part of this history. At least that’s what I always hear from adults that talk about politics. They say it’s one of the most important times in history. That this November each citizen over the age of 17 will face; who should they vote for in the presidential election. When I hear them talk about this big controversy, they say it like it like it might to the end or the beginning of the world. I am here to tell you that I don’t know. And I like many other people fear what I don’t know. I understand what’s going on. I comprehend the facts, the lies, the strategies, and statistics, but in the end I still don’t really know. Will millions of jobs be lost, all for the sake of regulations? Will one of those jobs be my Dad’s, or Mom’s? I don’t know. Will my once well lived neighbors be the ones you avoid on the side of the road? I don’t know. Will there be enough jobs for me to live when I’m older? I don’t know. I’m tired of the unknown, and I do know, I am not alone.

When I walk into school, I see the walls, classrooms, students, teachers, and the knowledge that you feel buzzing through the air. It all seems a little too perfect. I look closer, I notice the empty rooms, with valuable smart boards, computers, that are left, and I think to myself; was it really worth it. To everyone else it is just another day, talking with the friends, laughing about the TV show that was on late last night, but I wait as the number of the debt on America crawls up. What happens when it reaches its limit?
